Multi-Stakeholder Policy

In its corporate management, the Company recognizes the importance of co-creating value not only with shareholders, but also with a wide range of stakeholders, including employees, business partners, customers, creditors, and local communities. Based on this recognition, the Company shall continue to engage in appropriate collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

In addition, from the perspective that the appropriate distribution of the earnings and results generated through value co-creation and productivity improvement to multiple stakeholders will contribute to maintaining momentum for wage increases and to the sustainable development of the economy, the Company recognizes the importance of returning value to employees and giving due consideration to business partners. Accordingly, the Company shall promote the following initiatives.

1. Returning Value to Employees

The Company shall pursue sustainable growth and improved productivity by making focused investments of management resources in growth areas and by supporting employee capability development and skills enhancement, thereby seeking to maximize added value.

Based on the earnings and results so generated, the Company shall raise wages through appropriate methods in light of its business circumstances and in accordance with the fundamental principles for wage determination. In addition, as part of broader efforts to improve overall employee treatment and conditions, the Company shall actively engage in education, training, and other initiatives that contribute to higher employee engagement and further productivity improvement, with the aim of providing sustainable returns to employees.

Specific Initiatives

Specifically, with respect to wage increases, the Company has established a broad range of personnel evaluation, bonus, award, and incentive systems so that employee efforts and contributions may be returned to them to the fullest extent possible not only through salaries, but also through awards and incentives.

With respect to education and training, the Company provides various training programs tailored to employees’ stages of professional growth. The Company has also established a career consultation service to support employees in building fulfilling careers.

In addition, the Company has introduced a reduced working hours system for employees who are raising children, allowing them to choose flexible working arrangements until their children graduate from elementary school.

Through these initiatives, the Company shall continue to proactively support employees in taking greater ownership of their career development.

2. Consideration for Business Partners

The Company shall continue to comply with the commitments set forth in its Declaration of Partnership Building.

If the Company’s Declaration of Partnership Building is removed from the portal site, the Company shall voluntarily withdraw the publication of this Multi-Stakeholder Policy.

In addition, with respect to business relationships with tax-exempt business operators for consumption tax purposes, the Company shall work to build appropriate relationships while referring to the government’s published views and other guidance concerning responses to the invoice system by tax-exempt business operators and their trading partners.

The Company shall steadily advance these initiatives while confirming the status of its efforts with respect to each of the above items.
