We regard the protection of personal information to be one of the highest priorities in our corporate activities, and recognize that it is an important social responsibility to handle personal information appropriately and manage it safely. We will appropriately manage the personal information of users of our products and services, recruiters, and our employees in the course of providing information on employment and career changes through the operation of our website, publication of information magazines, holding events, and through our job placement business and workers dispatch services, taking into consideration the content and scale of the business. In order to fulfill this responsibility, we have established the following privacy policy, and we will make the policy known to all of our directors and employees. We will strive to properly handle, manage, and maintain the protection of personal information in accordance with this policy.

1. Management of personal information

We will establish a system for the appropriate protection and management of personal information, and establish and comply with internal rules regarding the appropriate acquisition, use, and provision of personal information.

2. Acquisition and use of personal information

When acquiring and using personal information, we will clarify the purpose of use with the consent of the individual, take measures to ensure that such information is not used for purposes other than those specified, and handle personal information appropriately within the scope necessary to achieve the specified purpose of use.

3. Provision of personal information

We will not provide or disclose personal information to third parties other than those for whom we have obtained the prior consent of the individual to whom such information pertains.

4. Outsourcing of personal information

We may outsource processing related to personal information to outside companies in the course of our business, such as data centers that operate and manage websites, software development companies that build and maintain databases, mail delivery and dispatch agents, and information processing. In the event of such outsourced processing, we will select a business (outsourcee) on the condition that it meets our security standards, sign a confidentiality agreement, and manage and supervise the business (outsourcee) to ensure that it handles personal information appropriately.

5. Security measures for personal information

We will ensure the security and accuracy of personal information by taking appropriate precautions against risks such as unauthorized access to personal information, loss, damage, alteration, and leakage of personal information. In the unlikely event of a problem, we will strive to minimize the damage and promptly implement corrective measures.

Career Design Center Co., Ltd. will establish a contact point for complaints and consultations on personal information from the person concerned, and respond appropriately.

*In order to provide support for worker dispatching, job placements, etc. (e.g., searches for companies to match the conditions of employment), Career Design Center also asks about the user’s “desired job type and industry” and other information.

(2) “Purpose of use” of personal information obtained in connection with a request for Disclosure, etc.
Personal information obtained in connection with a request for Disclosure, etc. shall be handled only to the extent necessary for the request for Disclosure, etc. Documents, etc. submitted in response to a request for Disclosure, etc. will be retained for one year after such response to the request for disclosure is completed, after which they will be securely destroyed.

Basic Policy for the Protection of Specific Personal Information

In accordance with the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (Act No. 27 of 2013, hereinafter referred to as the "Numbers Act"), Career Design Center has established this Basic Policy as follows to ensure the proper handling of personal information containing personal numbers (numbers obtained by converting resident registration codes pursuant to Article 7, Paragraph 1 or 2 of the Numbers Act, which are used to identify the person whose resident registration code is listed in the resident registration certificate) (hereinafter referred to as “Specific Personal Information, etc.”). 4. Matters related to security control measures
